Property Description

Bayview Park is right across the street. Its great lawn and winding walking paths fill the windows of every front room, and two upstairs rooms open onto balconies above it all. This Mediterranean home in East Hill has been looked after the way you hope a house has been. 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and 3,396 sq ft, built in 2000, with a layout that simply works: a first-floor primary suite with a steam shower, a dedicated office just off the entry, and a wet bar for the nights the house fills up. Out back, it feels a long way from everything. A saltwater gunite pool with a raised spillover, an outdoor kitchen, and a privacy fence around all of it. Inside, hand-scraped acacia and hardwood floors and a chef's kitchen. Detached 2-car garage. Bayou Texar, the tennis courts and the boat ramp are a short walk across the park. Homes this size are rare in East Hill. One that faces the park is rarer still. Come stand on the balcony and see for yourself.
